Fall Family Fun in Kansas City

Pumpkin patches, haunted houses, and festivals galore. Fall has finally come to Kansas City and our team couldn’t be more excited for cooler weather and pumpkin spiced-everything. We’re lucky to celebrate the season in Kansas City, where rural farmlands and city attractions are both within an hour’s drive. Here are a few things the StinkBOSS team will be doing this weekend – we hope to see you there!

Kansas City Renaissance Festival
9/30 – 10/16

After 40 years of jousting knights and medieval delights, we’ve yet to grow tired of the Kansas City Renaissance Festival. Visitors from all over the Midwest travel to partake in the longstanding annual fall tradition, which involves eating massive turkey legs while watching actors perform without breaking character.

Louisberg Cider Mill Tours & Events
September – October

No matter your age or taste for apple cider, Louisberg Cider Mill is a staple of the Kansas City autumn experience. Located south of Overland Park in Louisberg, KS, the Louisberg Cider Mill is open year-round with special events throughout September and October. You can learn how cider is made, catch a hay wagon ride, and pick your favorite pumpkin from their 10-acre pumpkin patch. Bring your camera along to capture all the memories your family will create.

Liberty Corn Maze
9/8 – 10/29

Looking to get lost in a maze of maize? If so, you’re not alone. Grab the kids and visit the Liberty Corn Maze, where you can mosey through the “biggest corn maze in the Midwest” or try your best to race through each part as fast as possible. Once your quest is complete, enjoy a drink at the Grain Drain Saloon or a bite to eat at their Hillbilly Kitchen & Kampfires. If you can find your way out, that is.

Zip KC Zip Line Park
All year

Not for the faint of heart (or anyone under 70 pounds), Zip KC is the perfect fall destination for adventure seekers and adrenaline junkies alike! With several group options and tour packages to choose from, you’re guaranteed to have a great time. Plus, you’ll get an amazing view of Kansas City while zipping through beautiful fall foliage. Add this to your bucket list!
